Linac Tube Notifications |
There are several different system updates that can be subscribed to. When subscribed to the different types, it is possible to get notified for multiple things at once. For example, if the status of a tube is changed and this lowers the spare count below the configured minumin, a person subscribed to both status updates and low spare count would received one e-mail message with two different notifications.
When an update is performed on the data that causes mail to be sent, a list of who is getting mail is presented.

Each tube is configured to have a low spare count minimum. This count is checked under the following conditions:

Linac Tube Subscription Interface |
The subscription interface shows a list of notifications the user is currently subscribed too. If the person viewing the list has full access to the system, there will be a button allowing viewing of subscriptions for everyone.
Viewing current subscriptions is done from the list at the top of the page. Clicking on the checkbox in the row next the subscription marks that entry for deletion and can be removed using the "Remove Selected" button.
The next information allows a new subscription to be entered. The "Subscription for:" text area should have the e-mail address of who is to be notified. Next the "Notify on what event" needs picked from the pull down list. There is a description of what these are and what will be sent viewable by clicking on the '?' next to the list.
Then, the subscriptions can be done based on what tube is being updated. If it is desirable to subscrib to updates on all tubes, just click on the box in front of "All". Otherwise, chose those tubes desired.
Clicking on the "Add New" button will update the subscription.
